Barrett Truck and Tank began by servicing the Patterson Fuels fleet and later assumed operations of their former garage after the company relocated. With years of hands-on experience in oil and propane tank service, owner Ryan Barrett recognized a growing need for dedicated tank truck service—particularly in the propane sector. At the time, local fleets had few options for inspections and installations without sending trucks out of state.
Ryan developed his work ethic and mechanical foundation through early involvement in his family’s business, Barrett Trucking, where he gained experience across a wide range of truck types. After leaving the family business, he joined Patterson Fuels, where he built extensive knowledge of the propane and petroleum delivery industry. That experience ultimately led to the creation of Barrett Truck and Tank to serve fuel delivery fleets throughout the region.
